It is 60 percent cotton and 40 percent polyester. Has a nice soft feel. Looks a bit like very fine jersey. Is cool to wear on a warm day. Very flattering style

How long is this top?is it past the hip?

BEST ANSWER: It is not past the hip on me, I am 5'1" and purchased the PM in blue (beautiful color), I then decided that I wanted it in red (gorgeous red) also but purchased the PS. Both PS and PM measured 23" from shoulder seam to hem.I ordered PS on the 2nd one as I didn't want it quite so loose around, but both are great tops.

The top you asked about is approximately 22? from the shoulder seam to the bottom . It is well past my hip. I am 5? tall and wear petites; I assume the shirt would fall about the same place on the body whether it is a tall, regular or petite. I hope this helps you.
