why doesn't the picture show where the shirring is?

BEST ANSWER: I purchased this several months ago. The shirring is part of the black band on the sides - not very noticeable - it's almost a flat black band..

Unfortunately I was unable to purchase this item. They did not have my size and they could not get it for me in time for vacation,. I love it and disappointed I could not purchase it. I understand the question but unable to help.

Is the fabric a knit or woven? I just returned a tee top that I expected to be a knit (with a little bit of stretch). I think that should be a part of every description. I also think there should be a picture of every back. I've been following this top and would like to know more about it before I buy it.

BEST ANSWER: This blouse does not have an obvious knit appearance. It looks like textured fabric on the exposed side. However backside looks like fine knitted material and there is considerable stretch to the garment.
